Privacy & Cookies

Straightforward information about your data.

Explore360 is based in Guernsey and is committed to handling personal information fairly, securely and transparently in line with The Data Protection (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2017.

Who we are

Explore360 provides professional 360° virtual tours for businesses, properties and attractions. For privacy enquiries, contact john@explore360.gg.

Information we collect

When you contact us or request a quotation, we may collect your name, business or organisation name, email address, telephone number and the information you provide about your property, venue or project. We may also receive normal technical information generated when you use a website, such as IP address, browser type and device information.

How we use your information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, discuss and deliver services, administer customer relationships, maintain appropriate business records, protect the website and comply with legal or regulatory obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Our legal basis

We process information where it is necessary to respond to a request before entering into a contract, to perform a contract with you, to meet legal obligations, or where we have a legitimate business interest that does not override your rights and interests.

Who we may share information with

We may use trusted service providers that help us operate the website, email and business systems. This can include our website hosting provider and other technology providers used to deliver our services. We only share information where reasonably necessary for those purposes or where required by law.

Where an interactive tour is embedded using a third-party platform such as Panoee, that provider may receive technical information when the tour is viewed. Their own privacy terms may also apply.

How long we keep information

General enquiry information is normally kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless there is a good reason to retain it for longer. Information connected with completed work, contracts, invoices or accounting records may be retained for longer where required for business, legal or regulatory purposes.

Cookies and similar technologies

Explore360 does not currently use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. WordPress and essential website services may use strictly necessary cookies for security, administration or basic site functionality. If we later introduce analytics, marketing cookies or other non-essential tracking, we will update this notice and introduce an appropriate consent mechanism where required.

Your rights

Under Guernsey data-protection law, you may have rights relating to information, access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability, depending on the circumstances. You can contact us at john@explore360.gg to exercise your rights or ask how your information is being used.

Complaints

If you have concerns about how your personal information is handled, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue. You also have the right to raise a concern with the Office of the Data Protection Authority for the Bailiwick of Guernsey.

We may update this privacy notice when our services, website or legal obligations change. The latest version will always be published on this page.
